A single Linden looks at the data in the SL servers that the two people involved say are the issue. The image that's earliest in the server is the winner -- simple and just. And no lawyers need to be involved. <br /><br />first offense, the guilty party has the data removed and is warned. Second offense, the guilty is banned from SL and all materials/funds are lost. Third offense, the person gets Credit Card Banned from SL (that card number is flagged and anyone using it for any reason gets permabanned from SL). <br /><br />This, of course, requires LL to look at its creation as a virtual world and requiring some virtual world solutions to its problems. It's not something LL is going to do however. And if L isn't money requiring real world regulation, then content isn't real which requires real world regulation either. The law won't be able to protect anyone's content. Only with an inworld solution to the inworld mess will anyone get a handle on the problem.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
